The Ministry of Tourism together with the Ministry of Territory, Environment and Agriculture continues to promote San Marino’s food and wine excellence through the “From the Land to the Table” project. The initiative creates a link between producers, restaurateurs and local businesses, allowing them to jointly highlight the authentic value of the Republic’s territory through cuisine.
The network now counts 50 members – farms, wineries, restaurants and tourism operators – that cooperate to foster a sustainable development model and experience‑based tourism centred on San Marino’s flavours and traditions.
The final event of 2025 will be a tasting dinner at Ristorante Spingarda on Friday, 14 November. The restaurant will present a special seafood menu featuring local ingredients, paired with San Marino wines and introduced by a sommelier. The price is €45; reservations can be made by calling 0549 992306 or 334 6681708.
The Secretaries of State note that the project aims not only to promote products and the people behind them, but also to demonstrate how food, territory and culture can become tools for national promotion and identity.
Early results are positive: wine sales from Cantina Vini in participating restaurants have risen by 12 % compared with previous years, confirming that cooperation among producers, restaurateurs and institutions generates tangible value for the entire agri‑food chain. A new calendar of events will be launched in 2026, gradually involving all member businesses.
The programme seeks to tell San Marino’s story through the quality, history and authenticity of its products, while emphasizing the human and community links that unite producers, chefs and consumers.
