Visit Greenland’s brand film “Greenland Goggles 2.0 – See Greenland Through Local Eyes” has been awarded double bronze at the 2025 Lovie Awards in the categories “Marketing, Advertising & PR – Branded Content” and “Video Ad Long Form”.
The jury highlighted the film’s authentic storytelling, which invites viewers to experience Greenland from a local perspective, emphasizing understanding over mere sightseeing. The concept is inspired by the Inuit snow‑goggles – the world’s oldest form of sunglasses.
“Greenland Goggles 2.0” aims to let audiences see, hear and feel Greenland through the eyes of its inhabitants, reflecting the core values of Visit Greenland’s ten‑year strategy “Kalaallit Nunaat – and all that we share”. These values focus on tourism that is developed together with local communities and respects nature and culture.
Anne Nivíka Grødem, CEO of Visit Greenland, said: “We are proud that the film showcases the very principles we want to communicate – tourism rooted in local values, community involvement and respect for the environment. This recognition strengthens Greenland’s reputation as a responsible and distinctive destination on the international stage.”
Visit Greenland thanks everyone who supported the film’s nomination.
