As part of a comprehensive refurbishment, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita has launched a refreshed Oseyan Spa – the island’s sole over‑water spa – offering an expanded suite of treatments, mindful practices, and locally inspired rituals designed to nurture body, mind and spirit.
The newly updated single and couples’ treatment rooms showcase a lighter design palette, abundant natural light and organic textures, creating an atmosphere that blurs indoor and outdoor boundaries and encourages a deeper connection with the surrounding nature.
Central to the new spa is a cutting‑edge Thermal Suite, equipped with a steam room, sauna, cold plunge and multi‑sensory showers, providing a balanced sequence of heat and water therapies. The highlight is the Royal Spa Suite, an over‑water retreat perched above the turquoise lagoon, featuring a handcrafted stone bathtub, private steam chamber and a relaxation lounge with panoramic views.
The treatment menu now includes Epicutis, a scientifically formulated skincare line known for its gentle, anti‑inflammatory properties, as well as specialized rituals for expectant and new mothers. Vegan options are available across nail, body and hair services, reflecting the resort’s commitment to sustainable wellbeing.
Oseyan Spa also continues to offer MyBlend – a biotech‑driven personalized skincare system – and Theranaka, a brand rooted in African healing traditions, together delivering a holistic wellness journey that merges science, nature and spirituality.
“Our philosophy is built around the idea that ‘a person is a person through others,’” explains Joelle Jennepy, Senior Director of Spa and Lifestyle. “Through our treatments and mindful experiences we invite guests to reconnect with themselves and the world around them, creating meaningful moments that highlight the shared nature of wellbeing.”
The spa adds an Overwater Hair Salon, featuring revitalising services such as Hair Botox to nourish and restore shine to all hair types.
Wellness offerings extend beyond the spa. The upgraded Fitness Centre now includes state‑of‑the‑art equipment, a dedicated Pilates studio, a TRX zone and professional swimming lessons for guests of all levels. Creative workshops – ranging from painting and wood engraving to crochet – encourage guests to explore mindfulness through art. Additionally, sound‑healing and guided meditation sessions are held in natural settings, allowing participants to find inner calm while attuned to the island’s rhythm.
“Our aim was to create a sanctuary where every guest can truly reconnect – whether through movement, mindfulness or quiet reflection by the ocean,” says Martin Dell, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita. “The reimagined Oseyan Spa embodies modern wellbeing: deeply personal, profoundly restorative, and inspired by the natural beauty and cadence of Mauritius.”
The newly designed spa, expanded beauty services, and holistic wellness programmes invite guests to experience balance, beauty and renewal in harmony with the island’s tranquil spirit.
