Greenland Tourism Awards 2025 awarded to Raw Arctic

Raw Arctic ApS, a young Greenlandic tourism operator, has been selected as the winner of the 2025 Greenland Tourism Award. The award recognises companies that deliver responsible tourism products with high standards of safety, quality, environmental stewardship, innovation and social responsibility. The prize is presented jointly by Visit Greenland and Air Greenland.

The company, founded 15 months ago by Rasmus Brandt, Isak Brandt Hansen and Casper Frank Møller, focuses on sustainable, culturally authentic experiences. Their portfolio includes fly‑fishing, whale watching, hunting trips, northern‑lights tours, wilderness camps and custom itineraries, all designed with catch‑and‑release fishing, solar‑powered camps and guest education on climate change. They employ and train local staff, fostering genuine interaction between visitors and guides.

Raw Arctic also collaborates with hotels and other operators to raise overall tourism standards in Greenland, and their strong digital storytelling promotes both their own products and the destination itself.

The shortlist comprised 32 nominees, from which a jury representing Visit Greenland, Air Greenland Group and NALIK Ventures chose three finalists: Raw Arctic, Authentic Greenland and Diskobay Tours. All three exemplify the positive impact of responsible tourism.

As part of the award, Raw Arctic receives a trophy designed by artist Kim Kleist Eriksen and a travel voucher worth DKK 10,000 from Air Greenland.
