Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) took part in the Manta Forum 2025, a major tourism exhibition organised by Resort Holidays, which was held on 14 September 2025 at the Moscow Marriott Imperial Plaza.
The event gathered hotels, destinations, tour operators and travel agencies from around the world to explore cooperation opportunities and strengthen ties within the global tourism industry.
VMC’s CEO and Managing Director, Ibrahim Shiuree, acted as the Maldives’ representative, meeting with industry partners and emphasizing the archipelago’s status as a leading luxury and sustainable tourism destination. His participation highlighted the continued importance of the Russian and CIS markets for the Maldives.
More than 110 exhibitors and participants from Russia and abroad attended the forum, providing a platform for networking and knowledge exchange.
By exhibiting at Manta Forum 2025, Visit Maldives reinforced its strategy of keeping the destination visible, building strong B2B relationships, and presenting the Maldives’ varied tourism products to Russian and CIS travel trade partners.
