Cristian Nannucci Appointed General Manager of Upcoming Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel

Minor Hotels, the international hospitality group that operates more than 560 properties worldwide, has announced that Cristian Nannucci will serve as General Manager of the forthcoming Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026.

With over three decades of experience in luxury hotel management across Asia, Europe and the Middle East, Nannucci has previously held senior roles with brands such as Shangri‑La, PARKROYAL COLLECTION and Pan Pacific Serviced Suites. His recent assignments in Malaysia and the Philippines have focused on operational excellence, guest experience and commercial performance.

The new Tivoli property will be the first Tivoli hotel in Oman. Located in the mixed‑use development LA VIE, the 79‑room hotel and 100 branded residences will overlook an 18‑hole golf course managed by Troon Golf and will be situated close to Muscat International Airport, the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre and key government ministries.

Facilities will include an Anantara Spa, the SEEN rooftop bar and restaurant, all‑day dining venues, a sports bar, ballroom, meeting rooms, a fully equipped gym and an infinity pool.

David Todd, Vice President Operations for Minor Hotels Middle East & Africa, said the appointment marks a milestone for the brand’s expansion in the region. Nasser Al Shibli, CEO of ORIS – the owner of the development – added that the hotel will set a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in Oman.

Cristian Nannucci holds a degree from the Aurelio Saffi Hotel School in Florence and has completed executive leadership programmes at Cornell University. His multicultural background and training underpin a management style that blends precision, innovation and warm hospitality.
