Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort in Oman will host its fourth Olive Harvest Festival from 24 to 28 September 2025. Situated on the “Green Mountain”, the five‑day celebration highlights the olive harvest through a mix of hands‑on activities, culinary showcases and cultural storytelling.
Theme: “From Tree to Table – A Journey Through Olive Heritage”. Guests can participate in olive picking, attend talks by olive historian Giorgio Robles, join heritage tours led by Dr Ali Al Furqani, and visit a nearby olive‑oil press to see the production process.
Two acclaimed chefs return to the resort: Italian chef Riccardo Passoni (Executive Chef, NH Collection Milano President) and Spanish chef Martin Aristondo (NH Collection San Sebastian). They will present exclusive dinners, cooking classes and tastings that blend Italian and Spanish flavours.
Key programme highlights:
General Manager Maren Kuehl remarked that the festival “honours the fertile land of Jabal Al Akhdar, its people and traditions, and brings guests together around the universal joy of sharing a meal crafted with care.”
Perched at roughly 2,000 m above sea level, the resort offers dramatic canyon views and terraced orchards, providing a unique backdrop for the event.
