David Neeleman’s Breeze Airways continues to expand its network, adding two more cities and 17 total flights to its 2025 schedule.

The two airports are Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Salisbury Regional Airport (SBY) in Maryland. Breeze is starting small at both airports: from Fort Lauderdale, it will fly to Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) and Wilmington International Airport (ILM) in North Carolina; and from Salisbury, it will fly to Orlando International Airport (MCO).

At the same time, Breeze is expanding elsewhere, adding 15 additional new flights to its network at some of its other hubs, including six new flights from Akron-Canton Airport in Ohio—to Daytona Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Wilmington, and Key West. It will also add a new flight to Wilmington from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport (ISP) and two new flights from Orlando (MCO), including one to Wilmington.

The additions bring Breeze’s 2025 expansion to seven new cities and 40 total flights. That follows a 2024 in which it added 29 new cities and 88 new routes.

Neeleman, an industry veteran who previously launched WestJet and JetBlue, debuted Breeze during the pandemic, with its inaugural flight from Tampa International Airport (TPA) in May 2021.

The airline offers four types of tickets, starting with a low-cost, no-frills fare and increasing in price based on amenities such as additional legroom, baggage, food, and Wi-Fi.

Most recently, Breeze named Akron as its new crew base.
