Royal Government of Cambodia Reduces E-Visa Fees

The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) on Saturday decided to reduce e-visa fees for tourists, business travelers and general citizens from January 1, 2025.


Accordingly, the RGC has instructed relevant ministries and institutions to improve and simplify procedures for issuing e-visas and visas on arrival within the unified Royal Government ecosystem, according to a press release from the RGC.


“In addition, it mandates reductions in e-visa fees for tourist (T) and regular (E) visa types. These changes will take effect on January 1, 2025.”


The updated e-Visa fees are as follows:

- e-T visa reduced from $36 to $30

- E-Visa reduced from US$42 to US$35


Tob Sopheak, spokesman for the Ministry of Tourism (MoT), told Khmer Times that as part of the Royal The MoT government under the leadership of Minister Huot Hak is actively working to attract tourists to Cambodia.


“The goal is to promote Cambodian tourism across all areas of the tourism market, and in 2024 we expect to welcome 6.7 million foreign tourists tourists.


“The government has consistently prioritized the promotion of the tourism sector and the discount on e-visas is intended to make travel easier for tourists,” Sopheak said.
