FIKANI exhibition opens Mozambique

Travel News visited Mozambique at the invitation of the organizers of the 10th International Travel Exhibition FIKANI Mozmbique in August.

Continuing the tradition of showcasing Mozambique's rich diversity, heritage and culture, the 10th edition was held in Maputo last month I International Tourism Exhibition FIKANI Mozambique. It attracted tourism sector professionals from all over the world interested in discovering the country's unique tourism offerings.

FIKANI is a joint exhibition between the Government of Mozambique through the National Institute of Tourism (INATUR) and the private sector, represented by the Federation of Tourism and Hospitality Mozambique (FEMOTUR).

This year it was held over four days, during which international visitors, buyers and investors explored Mozambique's distinctive offerings and networked with potential partners specializing in hospitality, aviation , MICE and cultural, historical and eco-tourism for both leisure and corporate travel.

Since its launch in 2013, the exhibition has grown in size and importance, this year it was attended by more than 220 national and international exhibitors, workshops, B2B meetings, seminars, excursions and cultural events.
