Airlink will connect Cape Town to Gaborone

Airlink is expanding its network to include direct flights from Cape Town to Gaborone from 1 April 2025.


Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between Cape Town International Airport (CPT) and Cape Town International Airport (CPT). Sir Seretse Khama (GBE) on the following schedule:


Flight 4Z 364 departs CPT at 10:50 and arrives GBE at 13:00.


Flight 4Z 365 departs GBE at 13:45 and arrives at CPT at 16:00.


“As the capital of Botswana, Gaborone is an important regional business destination due to the city's thriving mining companies. minerals, resources, automotive and technology. It is also the headquarters of the Southern African Development Community. It is also an important destination for tourists wanting to visit Gaborone's many game lodges and game reserves,” said Airlink CEO and Managing Director Roger Foster.


“Alongside Cape Town's economic growth, we are seeing increasing demand for travel between the two cities, and Airlink is ideal to connect them with a convenient direct flight. It also allows customers traveling through Cape Town on our various international partner airlines to seamlessly connect to Gaborone on a single ticket, and vice versa for customers traveling from Gaborone,” added Foster.


Airlink operates the route on its modern 44-seat Embraer E140 regional jets. Fares include 20 kg of free checked baggage in economy class and 15 kg of sports equipment.


Passengers are offered free light meals and drinks on board. The airline's cabins are designed with plenty of legroom and a choice of aisle or window seats—there are no middle seats on Airlink aircraft.
