The Anguilla Tourism Board (ATB) is pleased to announce that Anguilla has once again featured prominently in the Travel+Leisure 2024 World's Best Awards lists. Anguilla has been ranked 3rd on the list of 25 Favorite Islands in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas in 2024 year according to readers, and also took 18th place in the list of the 25 best islands in the world, up three places compared to the 2023 ranking.
According to the editors of Travel+Leisure, readers were captivated Anguilla's fantastic beaches and hospitable locals. Many readers echoed the sentiment that the island is “paradise”, with one swooning: “White beaches, blue clear water - once you visit Anguilla, you won't want to come home! One word: amazing." From the crystal clear waters of eastern Shoal Bay to the secluded coves of Monday's Bay and Meads Bay, T+L readers have determined that "this Caribbean island is the perfect place to bask in the sun, swim, snorkel or just relax."

Three Anguilla resorts have been named among the top 25 resort hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda and Bahamas list: Malliouhana resort in Meads Bay ranked 19th; and Frangipani Beach Resort, also in Meads Bay, at number 20; and Aurora Anguilla Golf Resort at number 23.
Each year, in its World's Best Awards survey, Travel+Leisure asks readers to rate their travel experiences around the world - to share their opinions on the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines and more. More than 186,000 T+L readers responded to the 2024 survey. In total, over 700,000 votes were cast for over 8,700 properties (hotels, cities, cruise lines, etc.).
Hotels are classified as resort hotels, city hotels, inns or safari lodges based on their location and amenities, and they have been specifically rated on rooms and amenities, location, service, food, and overall cost. Islands are rated according to their natural attractions and beaches, activities and attractions, restaurants and food, people/friendliness and overall value.
