Grenada Tourism Authority CEO Petra Roach was awarded the 2024 Director of Tourism Award by the Caribbean Tourism Organization at the Women's Leadership Breakfast during Caribbean Week in New York. The ceremony recognized outstanding female leaders in Caribbean tourism in three outstanding categories:
Upon receiving the award, Petra Roach expressed her heartfelt gratitude and reaffirmed her commitment to promoting the growth and development of tourism Caribbean sector. Stating: “I am honored to receive this recognition from the Caribbean Tourism Organization. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Grenada Tourism Authority team. Our collective efforts have been instrumental in driving growth and raising Grenada's profile on the world stage. I am passionate about inspiring other women and future generations to dream big and take bold steps to grow our industry.

Minister of Tourism, the Honorable Adrian Thomas, expressed his gratitude, saying: “We heartily congratulate Petra on this well-deserved award.
