Air France will launch its fifth flight to Lapland in northern Sweden.
The weekly Saturday flight between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Kiruna Airport will begin on December 21.
Kiruna is home to a seasonal ice hotel and Abisko National Park. The area attracts visitors with ideal views of the northern lights and scenic hikes. The film "The Abyss" was also filmed here.
This will be the French carrier's fifth destination in the Lapland region, after Rovaniemi and Kittila in Finland, and Tromso and Narvik-Lofoten in Norway.
Air France will also introduce two weekly flights to Male in the Maldives from December 20.
