The island of Langkawi, or known as the “Pearl of Kedah” (Malay: Langkawi Permata Kedah), is famous for its limestone hills, numerous caves, beautiful beaches, clear emerald waters and a magical world of marine life. It comprises a group of 99 tropical islands located off the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, approximately 30 kilometers from Kuala Perlis and 51 kilometers from Kuala Kedah. The rustic beauty of the islands is an attraction in itself.
At the Langkawi Ultra, which will take place from 24 to 26 May 2024, participants will be able to experience the island in the 100 km category, where they can walk the entire island, as well as 50 km, 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and in the Ultrakids 1 km and 500 m categories.
