Royal Caribbean to open resort in Mexico

Royal Caribbean has announced that it will open Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico in 2026.


In During an event held at the site of the future Beach Club, Jason Liberty, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, and Michael Bailey, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, unveiled plans for the latest addition to the Royal Beach Club collection.


Royal Beach Club Cozumel is the last place in the group and the second addition to the Royal Beach Club collection. The seven-hectare Royal Beach Club Paradise Island on Nassau Paradise Island will open in 2025.


“Anticipation for what's next for Royal Caribbean destinations has only increased since we introduced Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in the Bahamas, which will open in 2025. Now is the perfect time to announce the next iteration of this collection with Royal Beach Club Cozumel,” said Bailey. “Cozumel is an incredible destination, and the Beach Club will perfectly complement all that the island has to offer, combining the familiar features of Royal Caribbean with the spirit of Mexico, along with amenities and entertainment for every type of vacationer.”


Royal Beach Club Cozumel bills itself as “the best beach day in Mexico,” emphasizing every detail of the experience, from service to design. Guests can enjoy swim-up bars, family pools, private cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking and other water sports. The hotel will feature a wide variety of dining options, and visitors will be able to immerse themselves in Mexican culture through tequila tastings and cooking classes.
