Wike expressed optimism about the untapped potential of Nigeria's tourism sector and said that with the right investment and development, the sector can attract high foreign exchange earnings, which will significantly boost the country's economy.

The Renewed Hope Action Plan promises to upgrade existing entertainment venues and build new ones in six geo-political zones Nigeria through public-private partnership.

Sunrise Water Park is FCT's first successful public-private tourism venture. FCT is also considering encouraging investors to develop other attractions such as the Yaba Fishing Site, the Ushafa Pottery Center and the Millennium Tower projects.
