Celebrate this winter in Hong Kong and enjoy the city's exceptional festive atmosphere! From 24 November 2023 to 1 January 2024, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) will resume the annual "Hong Kong WinterFest". One of the highlights of WinterFest is the all-new Winter Harbor Waterfront Pyrotechnics, which will decorate Hong Kong's skyline with festive symbols for three consecutive weekends and the Christmas holiday, starting December 9.
Hong Kong Winter Festival Together with its popular giant Christmas tree and Christmas Town by the harbor, aims to provide local audiences and guests with an exciting and memorable holiday festival.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong Disneyland has opened the world's first and largest Frozen themed area. Heart", while Ocean Park uses elements of the fable "The Little Prince" in the Christmas sensation HOHOHO 2023. This year's Hong Kong WinterFest will once again take place on the waterfront of the famous Victoria Harbor with a giant Christmas tree not to be missed. Plus, over eight nights, Winter Harbourfront's fiery pyrotechnics will add extra sparkle to the coastal night views. Together with new experiences at Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park and events across the city, WinterFest will make Hong Kong even more attractive to visitors, cementing the city's status as one of visitors' favorite winter destinations. HKTB is confident that through a series of tourism attraction activities, the total number of tourists in 2023 will exceed 30 million.”
Catch the holiday looks at Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics. The pyrotechnic display of Symphony of Lights on the waterfront as part of the Harbor Chill Carnival earlier this summer was well received by the public, who drew crowds to enjoy the seaside spectacle. To create a fun atmosphere, Hong Kong Winter Festival will present a new 10-minute program, "Pyrotechnics on the Winter Harbor Waterfront" at 20:00 for eight evenings - 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 (Christmas Eve), 25 ( Christmas Eve) and 26 (Boxing Day) December, lighting up the seashore with Christmas icons such as Christmas trees and gift boxes. The "HK" monogram on the pyrotechnic show, which once attracted crowds of people to take photos in the summer, will return to Victoria Harbor.
