Today marked a major milestone: The Bahamas and JetBlue jointly welcomed passengers on the airline's first nonstop flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Linden Pindling International Airport (NAS) in Nassau, the rapidly developing capital of the Bahamas. A new direct connection aims to simplify travel between these two coasts, improving access to the coveted Caribbean paradise known for its pristine beaches, crystal clear waters and vibrant culture.
“As we saw today, this direct connection between coastline will open the doors for countless travelers to experience the beauty, warmth and rich heritage of our country without the hassle of multiple connections,” said the Honorable I. Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister of the Bahamas. and Minister of Tourism, Investment and Aviation. “We're thrilled to continue to welcome passengers to JetBlue's new service, ensuring their arrival on our shores will be extraordinary.”

The new route will also offer customers JetBlue's award-winning Mint premium service with lie-flat seats, innovative design features and a restaurant-style small plate dining concept from Delicious Hospitality Group (DHG).
There will be direct flights operate once a week, departing from Los Angeles and Nassau on Saturdays at 7:00 and 16:42 respectively.
