Storm Ciaran Update

If you are traveling to Jersey or currently visiting the island this week, please be aware that Jersey is under a severe weather warning due to Storm Ciaran.

Jersey Airport will be closed to commercial operations all day on Thursday 2 November and will reopen on Friday following a visual inspection of airport infrastructure. Elizabeth Harbor will also be closed and ferry services will be severely disrupted.

On the advice of Jersey Coastguard, we advise all visitors and islanders to stay away from coastal areas as there is a risk of people being swept out to sea from piers and dams. Please note that many attractions, including Jersey heritage sites, will be closed for the safety of visitors.

Official updates and safety information from the Government of Jersey can be found here.
