Hotels in Hong Kong are recognized as the best in the world. The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) congratulates Rosewood Hong Kong and The Upper House for being ranked second and fourth respectively in the inaugural World's 50 Best Hotels 2023, with Rosewood Hong Kong also named Asia's Best Hotel. This makes Hong Kong the only city in the world to have two hotels in the top five, and demonstrates to the world the city's highest level of hospitality.

On the evening of October 24, Rosewood Hong Kong and the Upper House jointly hosted a gala event. Mr. Dane Cheng, Chief Executive of HKTB, who attended the reception, said: “We are extremely proud of the industry's continued international recognition, which not only demonstrates Hong Kong's excellent hospitality record, but also further strengthens Hong Kong's position as a world-class tourism destination. It also underscores our commitment to providing professional, quality and warm hospitality services to our visitors and guests.
