Green Point Park

This family-friendly attraction offers hours of fun for all ages. With plenty of places to choose from, including an eco-square, an adventure park, an outdoor gym, an outdoor labyrinth, and an amphitheater, prepare to spend a lot of time here.

Once known as Ratanga Junction, this park is ideal for those who want to walk, jog or relax in a peaceful environment. While not as crowded as other parks, this Century City attraction also features great views of the canals and surrounding area.

Hear insightful tales of Cape Town's history, people and architecture on a 90-minute walking tour. Choose between Apartheid to Freedom, Bo-Kaap or Historic City tours, which introduce guests to the vibrant culture and history of some of the city's most iconic sites.

Tours take place three times a day at 11:00, 14:00 and 16:20. The tour is free, but tips are appreciated.

Not brave enough to swim in the ocean? Then try Saunders Rock Tidal Pool in Sea Point. This popular pool attracts local and international revelers during the summer months and is one of the best places to watch the sunset. Once you're done swimming, take a spot on the nearby rocks for a picnic.

Stroll along the Sea Point Boardwalk, which attracts everyone from runners, skaters, dog walkers and cyclists. This 1.2 hectare park is part of the V&A Waterfront's canal precinct, filled with shops, art and adventure. Key attractions include a skateboard and scooter park, a plaza, a basketball/futsal court and a canal. There are public walking paths and benches in every part of the park.

Enjoy a scenic climb to Just Nuisance's grave in Simon's Town. The famous dog is believed to be the only dog ​​officially commissioned into the Royal Navy. The steps start at Barnard Street and lead up to the Navy communications area where the grave is located. Please note that the climb may be difficult. You will also find a bronze statue of a dog in Jubilee Square.

If you want to learn salsa and get your hips swaying on the dance floor, head to Mojo Market for their free salsa lessons every Sunday. Everyone is welcome, whether you are single, in a couple or in a group.

The free beginner lesson is followed by a salsa party featuring popular DJs, 5 unique bars and 25 food stalls.
