Dubbed the "Rice Bowl" of Selangor, Sekinchan is known as one of the main rice producing areas in Malaysia. One of the highlights of your visit will undoubtedly be the Rice Processing Factory and Gallery, where you can learn everything you need to know about one of Malaysia's "must-have" foods - rice!

For a comfortable stay in Sekinchan, be sure to pack a full outdoor travel kit, as the vast rice fields also come with scorching tropical weather. So, be prepared with sunscreen and a hat and take an umbrella with you in case of rain.

REDANG BEACH

Being a fishing village, Sekinchan has its own Pantai Redang beach. Spend an evening here and enjoy activities such as kite flying and giant bubbles, sure to please both adults and children.

Continue your day by visiting the Make-A-Wish Tree and join the crowd by writing your wishes on a red ribbon and hanging it on the tree.
