Beaches in Kenya are the eighth wonder of the world! The beaches in Kenya are a huge area of about 120 kilometers north and south of Mombasa.

According to the editors of CNN Travel, Kenya's Watamu Beach took second place in the world ranking.
So what is so attractive about the beaches in Kenya?

First of all, absolutely untouched nature, an abundance of various rare animals, birds and fish (by the way for fishermen: Kenya is one of the few countries where you can catch marlin...and not just marlin, but even blue marlin).

The beaches of Kenya have absolutely snow-white sand, and when you approach the ocean...the smell of the sea simply carries you away . Believe me, the author has seen several seas and the Pacific Ocean, but this smell is incomparable.

And in Watamu National Park, you can see large green sea turtles in the wild, as well as hawksbill turtles.

On the coast of Kenya there are many different hotels, although all of them are located two hundred meters inland from the surf line, since Kenya has high tides.

And it’s worth noting that all the beaches in the country belong to the people, so a hotel beach would be a rather arbitrary thing. Although there will be sun loungers on the hotel premises.

It is definitely worth touching on seasonality on the coast. So... it simply doesn’t exist, since it’s practically the equator.
Between May and June there may be a little rain in the afternoon, but it only gets better.

It is important that, unlike the Asian coast, the Kenyan coast does not have such strong humidity and stuffiness, thus, the climatic conditions are more suitable for the residents of our country and other countries around our climatic zone.

It is worth noting that, of course, like everywhere else, there are scourge fights along the beaches... sellers of all sorts of things, acrobats, photographers on camels, with monkeys, etc., but somehow it’s all...unobtrusive. Nobody grabs hands.

Of course, the question arises - what to do there? Except lying in the sun...

Thanks to the coral reef, the Kenyan coastline offers many interesting activities. For example, kitesurfing, fishing, diving, snorkeling (and snorkeling is really very beautiful). For connoisseurs, there are golf courses along the entire coastline.
Well, if you don’t want anything, you can just lie on a sun lounger, listen to the sound of the surf and drink a cup of coffee.

This is what the author of the blog did from time to time)))
