So our dear reader….Kenya ..
a country of dreams, a country of nature and pure feelings, in Kenya if love is love, if hate is hatred, completely destroying everything in its path.

There are a huge number of incredibly beautiful places in Kenya: the island of Lamu with donkeys, the strange and mysterious Ruins of Gede, the devil’s kitchen and the devil’s gate. These are the cities - Italian Malindi, German little Mtwapa, French Nanyuki, Arabian Mombasa and of course Nairobi - a mixture of everything that this country has.

Let's not forget about the national parks - Amboselli with a gorgeous view of Kalimanjaro and the unforgettable Masai Mara, little Ol Pejeta and Shimba Hills.

And the fishing...oh my God, what fishing is there....Marlins and sailfish...and swim with dolphins...... In general, in this country everyone will find something for themselves to do.

So, today we will talk about Masai - Mara.

The Masai Mara is a nature reserve in southwestern Kenya. It is the northern extension of the Serengeti National Park. The reserve is named after the Maasai tribe, the traditional population of the region, and the Mara River that divides it.

The Masai Mara is famous for the large number of animals that live there.

Maasai Mara is located 390 km from Nairobi or approximately 6 hours by car.

Founded in 1961, the Maasai Mara was named after the indigenous people of the area - the Maasai tribe and the Mara River. The landscapes of the reserve are a wild savannah, completely covered with acacia thickets.

The reserve is famous throughout the world for the largest number of lions and wildebeest.

Here you can also see numerous corpulent herds of cogony, Grant's and Thompson's gazelles, topi and impala, several species of giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, wild dogs, and elephants.

Along the banks of the Talek and Mara rivers live crocodiles and the rarest black rhinoceroses.

Once a year in July-October, millions of wildebeest, many zebras, topi and impala antelopes, buffalos, warthogs, elephants, giraffes and other herbivores migrate across the savannah from the Serengeti Valley towards the park Masai Mara in search of new pastures.
This natural phenomenon was called the Great Migration.

During the migration season, predators: cheetahs, lions, hyenas, wild dogs, dingoes and jackals follow the path of huge masses of ungulates, destroying the weakest and lagging behind.

And if you want to get a complete picture of African animals in the wild and feel the strength of a lion, the speed of a cheetah, the serenity of a zebra and the curiosity of a giraffe then welcome to Masai Mara.
